Between January and May, 28 teachers from 12 schools in Portugal participated in CliC-PoLiT teacher trainings. During the trainings, teachers received instruction on light pollution topics, innovative educational and assessment practices, as well as maker skills such as 3D modeling and printing, laser cutting and engraving, and electronics and programming. The goal of these trainings is to empower teachers to innovate their teaching methods and at the same time to raise awareness and strengthen responsible citizenship regarding the threat of light pollution and its environmental implications. Thanks to the teachers’ full dedication and enthusiasm, the final CliC-PoLiT school projects are already underway with their students. Stay tuned for updates!
